Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GoalTamer, operated by LSN lab ("we", "us", "our"). By using GoalTamer, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

GoalTamer is a goal-oriented task management application available as a desktop app for Windows and macOS. It includes goal setting, task management, daily planning, rituals, analytics, and AI-powered coaching features.

2. Accounts

You may use GoalTamer without creating an account. All core features are available locally without registration. An account is required for multi-device sync, calendar integrations, and AI Coach features.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or use another person's account.

3. Free and Paid Plans

GoalTamer offers a free plan with full local functionality and paid Pro plans with additional features including sync, integrations, and AI Coach.

• Prices are listed on our website and may change with 30 days' notice.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan selected.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you have concerns.

4. Your Data

You own your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the content you create in GoalTamer (goals, tasks, notes, etc.).

When sync is enabled, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the service. This license ends when you delete your account.

5. AI Coach

AI Coach provides suggestions, analysis, and recommendations based on your data. AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and should not be treated as professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and evaluating any AI-generated suggestions before acting on them.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Abuse the AI Coach by sending automated or bulk requests
• Redistribute or resell the application or its features

7. Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of sync and cloud features, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The desktop app works offline regardless of server availability. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

GoalTamer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using GoalTamer at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your synced data will be deleted within 30 days. Local data on your device is not affected.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
